Affordable Student Dormitories

Akamonkai Japanese Language School owns and manages a considerable number of student dormitories. They are conveniently located near the campuses, the fees are low and the entry procedures are simple, allowing you to have a smooth start to live in Japan.

*You will be asked about your dormitory preference, but you may be assigned to a dormitory other than the one you have requested.

Special Features of the Dormitories

  • The rents are very reasonable due to own dormitories of Akamonkai
  • Reasonable fees(40,000JPY ~ 60,000 JPY/per month) *1
  • All dormitories come equipped with kitchen appliances, furniture and the Internet *2
  • All dormitories are within 40 minutes from school (door-to-door)
  • 2 women-only dorms available 
 *1 Utility fees are charged separately and are based on the amount used. (5,000JPY ~10,000JPY/per month)
 *2 There are no mattress or blanket in the student dormitories, so please bring your own.
      You can also apply in advance to the school for a bedding set.
      Futon and duvet covers are not included.

I stayed in Higashi Ogu dorm. I remember having a great time cooking and sharing dishes of home countries with other students. Wi-Fi is of course available and I used the study room in the dorm often. When I had problems at the dorm, I could talk to the dorm managers and they helped me. It was cheap, convenient, fully equipped, and the common areas were cleaned everyday, so I had a great living without inconvenience. I highly recommend Akamonkai's dorms.
